I decided that today was a good day to show off my vintage tartan high-waisted skirt. When I bought it, it looked very very different to what you see in this photo. It was an unflattering calf length with a tatty hem job, but with a little TLC and a good seamstress it has blossomed into a flower of Scotland!

Pieter looked so sprightly in his turquoise jersey (a gift from yours truly) that I just HAD to photograph him. Looking fresh and ‘staying alive’.
